Za vikend sam na pijaci "ulovila" ove divne glavice karfiola . Žuti nikada ranije nisam videla i bila sam jako nestrpljiva da ga probam.
Znam da je karfiol često zapostavljeno povrće. Ja se trudim da i on nađe svoje mesto u našoj ishrani pa ga često jedemo u čorbicama i salatama . Ova salata je jako ukusna, brzo se pravi a ako ne jedete karfiol evo prilike da ga kroz ovu salatu uvrstite u jelovnik. A možete isprobati i kari sa karfiolom i krompirom

150 gr očišćenih i naseckanih na trakice pečenih paprika
6 crnih maslina očišćenih od koščica i naseckanih na kružiće
Za preliv:
1 supena kašika naseckanog peršuna
3 čena sitno seckanog belog luka
1 supena kašika limunovog soka
2 supene kašike maslinog ulja
2 kafene kašičice Worcestershire sosa
U većoj činiji promešajti sve sastojke za preliv. So i biber ćete dodati na kraju. Manji lonac napunite vodom, posolite je i na jakoj vatri pustite da proključa. Ubacite cvetiće karfiola u ključalu vodu i blanširajte ih 2 minuta. nakon toga, cvetiće ocedite i ubacite u činiju sa prelivom. Dodajte naseckane masline i paprike i sve dobro promešajte pa posolite i pobiberite po ukusu. Salatu možete jesti toplu ili hladnu. Meni se najviše dopada kada se napravi par sati pre služenja pa se svi ukusi prožmu.
P.S Meni je ova salata jednako dobra i sa svežim karfiolom.
Cauliflower is an often neglected vegetable. I prepare cauliflower in a number of ways , but this salad is one of my favorite. It is fast, easy and absolutely delicious. Also, you can find another interesting recipe with cauliflower here.
250 gr cauliflower (mix green,yellow and white) , cut into florets
150 gr roasted red pepper, cut into thin strips
6 black olives , pitted and chopped
Salad dressing:
1 tbsp. fresh squeezed lemon juice
1 1/2 tbsp. olive oil
3 cloves of garlic, minced
1tbsp. fresh parsley, chopped
2 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
salt and pepper to taste
Mix the dressing ingredients in a large bowl. Blanch cauliflower's florets in a boiling water for two minutes. When the cauliflower is done, stir in the dressing, add roasted peppers and black olives .Serve it hot or cold. For best results, refrigerate for a hour or two, allowing the flavors to blend.
P.S Meni je ova salata jednako dobra i sa svežim karfiolom.
